Total Wrist Replacement (Arthroplasty)
Our goal is to provide information for patients with advanced wrist arthritis considering surgical options including total wrist replacement, also known as total wrist arthroplasty.
Dr. Arnold-Peter C. Weiss is an internationally recognized hand surgeon with a special interest in wrist joint replacement surgery. He is the Managing Editor of the ASSH Textbook of Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery, former Editor of the Journal of Hand Surgery, Emeritus Dean of Admissions at Brown Medical School and the holder of 24 U.S. patents for widely-used medical devices.
He currently is the R. Scot Sellers Scholar of Hand Surgery, Chief, Division of Hand, Upper Extremity & Microvascular Surgery and Professor and Vice Chair of Orthopaedics at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
He is also Professor of Orthopaedics, Medical University of South Carolina. He sees patients in both Providence, RI and Charleston, SC.
He has published over 215 peer-reviewed scientific articles, 13 books and has lectured over 450 times nationally and internationally.
